Agreement Between You and SYCR

You (“Client” or “you”) are entering into this agreement with SUE YOUR CREDIT REPORT – a division of Sue Your Dealer – A Law Firm LLC, located in Broward County, Florida (“SYCR” or “we”). By signing this document, you allow SYCR to investigate possible legal claims you may have about your credit or finances. These claims might involve laws like the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (“ECOA”), and others. Please read this agreement carefully before signing.

What SYCR Will Do for You

SYCR will investigate your potential claims under federal and state laws. To do this, we may need to contact companies, creditors, debt collectors, credit agencies, rental agencies, employers, courts, and other organizations on your behalf.
The 180-Day Exclusive Investigation Period

SYCR will have 180 days to investigate your claims (the “Exclusive Investigative Period”). During this time:

  • You agree not to talk to other lawyers about these claims.

  • You will not schedule any legal consultations elsewhere.

  • You will cooperate with SYCR by providing any documents or information we need.

At any time during these 180 days, SYCR may let you know whether you have a valid legal claim. If you do, we may ask you to sign another agreement so we can officially represent you. If not, we will send you an email explaining that we cannot take your case further.

When This Agreement Ends

This agreement ends either:

  • At 5:00 p.m. on the 180th day, or

  • When SYCR informs you in writing that we are not taking your case.

After this period, you are free to find another lawyer.

Your Responsibilities

You must help SYCR with the investigation by:

  • Providing all necessary documents and information.

  • Updating us if your contact information changes.

  • Giving truthful and complete details about your situation. If you do not cooperate, it could delay or hurt your case.

No Upfront Costs

You do not have to pay any money during the investigation. If we later represent you in a lawsuit and win, we may recover fees and costs from the company or person we sue. If you refuse to move forward after we find a valid claim, SYCR may ask to be reimbursed for our costs.

Electronic Signatures

SYCR will send you documents for your signature electronically. You agree that:

  • We can use your electronic signature on forms related to this investigation.

  • If you do not respond within 7 days, we may sign on your behalf to keep the investigation moving.

State-Specific Consumer Protection Laws

You also allow SYCR to look into any state-specific laws that may apply to your situation.

By signing below, you agree to these terms and allow SYCR to investigate your potential claims.
